Mario Winans

Best known for international chart-topping hits such as his breakout classic “I Don’t Wanna Know”, Trey Songz “Can’t Be Friends”, and a litany of collaborations at Bad Boy Records, Mario Winans is a Grammy-Winning producer, singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist.

Mario Winans began learning piano, keyboards, and drums while still in grade school in Detroit, Michigan and learned how to work in a recording studio at an early age. He began producing gospel music professionally after graduating high school, eventually working with gospel music artists Fred Hammond, The Clark Sisters and various members of the Winans gospel music family before moving onto to R&B.

To date, Mario Winans has worked with some of the biggest names across multiple genres of music, including: Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, Janet Jackson, Notorious B.I.G., Eminem, Lil Kim, Mary J. Blige, Busta Rhymes, Usher, 112, Fat Joe, Limp Bizkit –to name a few.

In 2014, Mario Winans produced the final album in Diddy’s career as an artist, as well as projects for Jaimie Foxx, Keyshia Cole, and Fabulous. Currently working on his own solo album, his label Love Legacy, overseas collaborations, Mario Winans continues to prove his power as an industry veteran.
